Valentim Goncalves Jr.
Valentim Goncalves Jr. is the Managing Director of RG Tennis Academy. He coached many players at RGTC as Head Professional prior to stepping up to this leadership role.
He was born in Curitiba, Brazil and before joining the University of Pacific Tigers in Stockton, California, Valentim was a state tennis champion for several years. He managed to crack the Top 7 in the Brazilian national tennis ranks in 2008. In 2010 Valentim was the Interclub State Champion and a Brazilian Federation Cup Finalist as well as ranked in the top 10 in the national rankings.
Valentim Goncalves Jr. holds a Master's of Business Administration (MBA) with emphasis in Supply Chain Logistics Management and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) in Management, a Minor in Marketing, and a certificate in Supply Chain Logistics from the University of West Florida. Valentim had a fantastic junior’s career being one of the top players in his state as well as overall in his home country of Brazil. Valentim played some professional tournaments, futures and challengers (ATP) before deciding to play college tennis.
